No Shave November {

The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle. ~ https://www.no-shave.org

With the above being said, the Diego Garcia Fire and Emergency Services personnel joins the cause of promoting cancer awareness aboard a tiny atoll in the middle of the British Indian Ocean Territory. This may be a tiny effort to further the cause but it's a start.

Finally, here's the result of the few that grew mustaches and beards. Though not all may grew beards specially those who operate on the fire ground because of safety concerns when wearing their SCBA's such as the Firefighters, Driver Operators and Crew Chiefs/Captains.

Now that No Shave November 2015 is almost over, I guess its time to shave and be a few years younger then.
