This does not concern the uniformed service or any government agency/office/company for that matter. This is just about the daily lives of contractors and civilian employees outside working hours and during their free time. How they manage to keep themselves happy or occupied is none of my business but this post is just a summary observation from a third person point of view. Whatever words written in this post are in general or at least and does not point to specific person nor intend to imply anything aside from the subject matter. Some uniformed service readers may find similarities in their situation but the author emphasizes this is in no way related to them in any way.

When the going gets tough at work and when the person who is suppose to lead you fails you in every category expected including that but not limited to professionalism and conduct and when you had your patience stretched to the thinest point and still manage to come out on top of the situation, its a bit relaxing to reflect and look back at things at the end of the day.

Anti-U.S. activists clashed with riot police near the U.S. Embassy in Manila on Philippine-American Friendship Day, July 4.  Protesters from the League of Filipino Students (LFS) and other groups called for the junking of the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) which paves the way for expanded military cooperation between the U.S. and the Philippines.  Protesters also called for the abolition of the pork barrel system.
