Morale, Welfare and Recreation

This does not concern the uniformed service or any government agency/office/company for that matter. This is just about the daily lives of contractors and civilian employees outside working hours and during their free time. How they manage to keep themselves happy or occupied is none of my business but this post is just a summary observation from a third person point of view. Whatever words written in this post are in general or at least and does not point to specific person nor intend to imply anything aside from the subject matter. Some uniformed service readers may find similarities in their situation but the author emphasizes this is in no way related to them in any way.

SOME...

• Made drinking a past time
• Drinks and party on like there's no tomorrow
• Have their own brand/choice of liquor and won't drink if not available
• Pass out due to too much liquor (Like a computer that hanged)
• Can't get away with home sickness
• Prefer to stay in their barracks and seldom goes out
• Go out fishing as a past time or as a side line or as a source of food
• Does a lot of workout at the gym
• Does trail running and outdoor fitness workout
• Have a cookout of a meal of their choice
• Does not like the galley menu but goes anyway
• Does not talk to anyone or seldom does
• Participate in sponsored activities
• Does not get along with other's version of past time
• Does not get along with work mates
• Prefers to be alone
• Never miss the Bingo games
• Prefers to be with some sort of elites
• Prefers club parties and hangouts
• Does not dole out anything during parties or anything that requires contribution
• Free loaders
• Ladies do "man hunts"
• Prefers regionalist associations
• Prefers to be in cyber space
• Trolling others
• Playing stupid games and winning stupid prizes
• Had swollen heads because they are one of a kind
• Thinks she's so pretty in a place where the female is scarce (like the men had a choice)
• Thinks he's so handsome that every woman likes him (thick face)
• Visits the Facebook profile of their workmate's wife and gets disappointed when she finds out that the wife of her co-worker is prettier than her...way far prettier than her
• Takes a bath with perfume
• Likes minding the business of others
• Prefers eating a lot and then some more
• Does side lines for extra income
• Does not care if they disturb others because of what they do
• Talks a lot of work problems and ethics like they never left the office or work place
• Talks a lot of things they know less or have experience about and pretend to be because they are "DoD Certified"
• Acts like they own a portion of the work place
• Are almost citizens of the place since they keep extending their contracts and refuses to go home as much as possible
• Are prone to arguments and irate behaviors
• Lame and talks a lot of non-sense
• Gossip is a way of living (LOL)
• Are popular because they always give a lending...not a hand but loan/credit to those less fortunate (LMAO)
• Have a bad breath because every time he/she says something it is always accompanied by foul words...could be literally in meaning too
• Complains of getting fat but continues to eat anyway
• Feels relieved of stress when they eat or drink a lot
• Are fond of going to clubs w/ bands who have sexy vocalists
• Appear on programs due to insistent public demand of talent
• Settles for t.v. shows via antenna (like they have a choice for CATV)
• Have their faith above anything else

OTHERS...

• Envy others because of so many reasons I cannot enumerate
• Spends a lot on Facebook and YouTube and contented in doing so while receiving a pay grade higher than others
• Are just waiting for their co-workers to make mistakes and will report it to superiors as soon as he/she finds one
• Pretends to be hardworking when the bosses are nearby
• Always plays safe in anything
• Thinks they are so so so over professional in what they do
• Thinks they are above others
• Are only after the pay grade
• Untidy
• Lazy...just pure laziness
• Have the amulet of a talisman (LoL)
• Are afraid of responsibility and always have excuses
• Are ultimate opportunist
• Are friendly and only knows people when they need someone's help
• Pulls down others just to be on top of them
• Career oriented but does not do what he/she is supposed to do
• Have lost their hair since they arrived
• Are health conscious but does the unhealthy things
• Brought with them their attitude and norms
• Make fun of others but does not like to be made fun of
• Carries a big stick but does not know how and when to use it
• Likes sticking their nose to others personal business
• Complains a lot but does nothing to improve what he/she is complaining about
• Make small things as bigger issues
• Talks a lot of things above their pay grade
• Claim to be so smart and seems to know everything but haven't finish their studies
• Are walking encyclopediot
• Are not team players
• Are purposely driven to pull down others
• Are friendly with a Vaseline
• Are always asking for help but does not bother to learn from it
• Create animosity among workmates and work places
• Act so tough when they are with their superiors or bosses
• Are reckless in borrowing money but couldn’t pay back
• Like making promises they can never keep (duh)
• Like singing but the song does not like them
• Are inspired by movies with themes of concubines and adultery (duh)
• Uses the work phone like its his/her personal line
• Grew old and holds the same job as they had since the start of his/her contract
• Slow learner and reacts late...way too late
